During 2020, due to COVID pandemy restrictions, I found myself blocked for half year far from home, without any instrument and without my piano. As soon as I came back and I had the chance to touch piano keys again, I created this composition. In its melody, rythm and overall sonority, I clearly hear a classical vibe, with echoes coming from my favourite authors of the past. Overall, a light sense of sadness and melancholy characterizes the whole music, such as my emotions were during that peculiar time. |
